Day by Day Itinerary
After breakfast, your safari guide will meet you at your hotel in Arusha for a short briefing before you depart for Tarangire National Park. The drive takes you through the beautiful countryside of northern Tanzania toward a park famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.
Upon arrival, enter the park and begin your game drive across the savannah, river valleys, and woodland habitats. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, and warthogs. With some luck, you may also encounter lions or other predators resting in the shade or moving through the grasslands.
Tarangire's river is an important water source for wildlife, particularly during the dry season, making it a rewarding place to observe animals in their natural environment.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later in the day, leave Tarangire and travel toward Karatu, a pleasant highland town near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax overnight.

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at your lodge before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Travel to the crater rim and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting wildlife safari.
The crater's varied habitats include open grasslands, woodland, wetlands, and a lake, supporting an impressive diversity of animals. During your game drive, look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, hippos, and numerous bird species. Ngorongoro is also home to the endangered black rhinoceros, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Your guide will help you explore different parts of the crater floor while sharing information about the animals, their behavior, and the area's unique ecosystem.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated location during your visit, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the crater. Continue with an afternoon game drive before ascending to the crater rim and returning to your lodge in Karatu.
Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying dinner as you prepare for the final day of your safari.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic destination known for its groundwater forest, open grasslands, acacia woodland, and lake shoreline. Despite its relatively compact size, the park offers a rich variety of habitats and wildlife.
Begin your game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, blue monkeys, and a wide range of bird species. The park is particularly known for its abundant birdlife, including flamingos when conditions are suitable. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, although spotting them is never guaranteed.
Continue exploring the park with your guide, enjoying the contrast between the lush forest and the open areas near the lake. Your visit offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and a final taste of Tanzania's remarkable natural diversity.
Enjoy lunch according to your schedule, either as a picnic or at a suitable stop outside the park. In the afternoon, depart for Arusha and arrive at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
