Day by Day Itinerary
After breakfast, your professional safari guide will meet you at your hotel in Arusha and introduce you to your 2-day Tanzania Safari Experience. Depart for Tarangire National Park, a beautiful wildlife destination known for its impressive elephant populations, giant baobab trees, and scenic savannah landscapes.
Upon arrival, enter the park and begin your game drive through its diverse habitats. Keep your eyes open for elephants gathering around the Tarangire River, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, and warthogs. With some luck, you may also spot predators such as lions, leopards, or cheetahs.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Your guide will help you discover wildlife, learn about animal behavior, and explore the park’s remarkable natural environment.
In the late afternoon, leave Tarangire and drive to your lodge in the Karatu area or another suitable location near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Check in, relax, and enjoy dinner as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at your lodge before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Travel to the crater rim and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife safari.
The crater is one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations, with open grasslands, woodland, wetlands, and a soda lake that attract a remarkable variety of animals. During your game drive, look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, hippos, and other wildlife. Ngorongoro is also one of the best places in Tanzania to look for the endangered black rhinoceros, although sightings are never guaranteed.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your visit, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the crater. Continue exploring the crater floor with your guide, taking in the diverse landscapes and opportunities for wildlife photography.
In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location. If you have a flight or onward travel arrangements, please allow sufficient time for the journey.
